He also lead their UCITS IV initiative.
Prior to joining RBC, Bill played a key role in helping SWIFT develop its offering for the global funds and investment management community as global head of sales across 204 markets, in addition to holding a variety of management positions at Deutsche Bank and State Street Bank.
His experience of creating and leading market demand initiatives is substantial having been a founder member of the Findel Group, a founding adviser of the AFAC group in Hong Kong, of the JFAI group in Japan, on the Luxembourg funds CSD working group, an advisor to the FundSquare creation exercise, and provided extensive advice to the Canadian, Brazilian, New Zealand and Australian markets. He first started working with Idea Group, as a company, through his role at SWIFT where the ViaNova initiative in the UK pension fund space, and the SHarP initiative in the alternative fund sector both fell under his strategic business development responsibilities.
