Currently Head of Product for Cloudhouse, helps Corporate IT transform how they deliver and manage applications to their users and a product that can accelerate data for their SQL Server applications. He has been enjoying the transition to SaaS, Lean and Kanban. Prior to joining Cloudhouse, Stuart was Principal Product Manager at Citrix for three years on their flagship product XenApp & XenDesktop, specialising on the Finance vertical. He is passionate about great design and innovation, and this was recognised at Citrix when he was awarded “Design Hero” for promoting Design Thinking and user centric design practices to solve problems for customers. Stuart cites Dyson as his Design Hero, because anyone who can incorporate innovation so seamlessly into a device as mundane as the vacuum cleaner while simultaneously looking cool deserves recognition.
Stuart first knew he wanted to be a Product Manager in 2005 when he first read a friend’s new job description and realised he was a) jealous and b) not going to stop until he was one too. Eleven years on, after eight years in product management he is still loving the job and has absolutely no regrets… although does wish he had done a few things differently.
